WESTERN AUSTRALLIA.
SECESSION FROM COMMON WEALTH. (United press Assn—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, Last Night. The Perth special Parliamentary Subcommittee prepared its report on Western Australia’s secession from the Commonwealth. This claims tbiat the only effective remedy for ills and wrongs Western Australia suffers under the Federation, is her withdrawal from the C ommonwealth. It urges the Imperial Parliament to give Western Australia the same status as the Dominions of New Zealand, Canada and South Africa, and proposes that an Imperial defence force should undertake coastal defence until the Dominion itself is able to discharge this duty.
