100 MILES’ CHAMPIONSBHP ALLOTTED TO CANTERBURY. (Per United Press Assn.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The hundred mile amateur cycling road championship, to be held either on September 24 or October 8, was allotted to Canterbury Centre by the Cycling Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night. The race was originally allotted to the West Coast (North Island) centre, which had advised that it was ""-Ns to control the race. Levin Cycling Club wrote to be allowed to enter Wellington Provincial Championships, desiring to be Secluded In Wellington centra's boundary Instead of the West Coast, as members were finding a difficulty in competing at Hawera. The Council decided that it was finpossible to alter the boundaries.
