SHORT OF SUPPLIES
CHATHAM ISLANDERS MATAI TO THE RESCUE (Per United Press Assn.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Government lighthouse steamer, Matai, left Wellington shortly after midnight for Lyttelton, where she will load supplies and a certain amount or general cargo for Chatham No steamer km called at Chatham Islands since April, when the pass made a trip and the Islanders ATS running short of supplies.
