HEADS HORRIBLY BAT. TERED. BOTH IN CRITICAL CONDITION. (United Press Assn—By Else trie Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY 1 , Last Night. Victor Claude Saywell, well known solicitor and sportsman, and his wife, were found in bed today wittt their heads horribly battered, apparently i with a hammer while asleCp. They were taken to a hospital in a critical condition. NO REASON GIVEN. No reason for the murderous attach upon Saywells is yet ascertained. A blood-stained hammer was discovered in an adjoining paddock. Saywells were prominent society folk, residing on Bellevne HU.
