on trucks, the values will be 4/4, 4/-' and 4/9 a bushel, out of which a penny pe r bushel will have to be paid into the proposed equalisation fund. Under the proposed sliding scale of duties, it is said it will be impossible for millers to sell flour at under £l3 12s a ton f.o.b. The Wheat Marketing Board considers one penny a bushel will be sufficient to meet all contingencies, and this amount will be deducted from the value of all wheat sold.
It Is anticipated that more than a half-penny a bushel will he returned to the growers later in the season, and in event of a substantial *rise in price" for bran and pollard, a whole penny per bushel may he paid out at the end of the season.
The price of corn sacks to farmers will be 1/- each, and the farmer be credited with lOd when the sack 's returned filled with grain.
