Bailer 36, ▼ Inang&hua 3 The representative Rugby match, Butler v Inangabua, was played od Reefton Racecourse yesterday under most adverse weather conditions. Rain fell most of the time, and the ground was in a sodden condition, consequently the game was not a good one to watch, although the Buller backs made several bright patches of passing, showing their ability to handle the ball under the ! most adverse conditions. Their j forwards, too, were too heavy for Inangahoa’s, and in the scrums they invariably were masters of the situation. On the line-out the . visitors also showed to advantage, j their height and weight also assisting them. The score at the end of the first spell was 20 to mb In the second spell loangabna opened better and from a loose scramble scored, but Hepburn failed 10 convert. From this to the end of the game tbe visitors played ihe better game, scoring four tries, two of which were converted, making tbe final score 36 to 3. The Buller team left for Westport in tbe evening.
