(Fer Press Association.) Hawk Cup Match Manawatu v Hawke’s Bay Palmerston North, This day The Hawk Cup match was resumed this morning. Manawatu, with two wickets down for 90 continuing their innings. Gallichan and Morris, the not out men, batted freely, and after half an hour’s play the score was 110 runs for two wickets. Gallichan and Morris continued to add runs till 12 45, when Gallichan was caught behind the wickets. Almost immediately, Morris was leg before wicket to Lowry, who has forsaken wicketkeeping for bowling. Cutler did not last long.
