On Saturday afternoon a gathering ot nearly 100 people attended a demonstration by the Cawtbron Institute on an experimental pakibi plot at Fairdown, when the work done was explained by Professor Easterfield and Mr Rigg. There what formerly was pakibi land is carrying a good growth of mixed grasses and flax, and the results are regarded as very promising.
