The first pftiure shown was that of •■ a Female Sandow," which was an exceedingly 1 amusing one. ' Life in the PyreerteS, I was an excellent series <&{ pictures,' I showing various phases fit lite in that. 1 picturesque part ol Ihe \V<srld\ also the beautiful old 'tdsVri d\ 'Carcassonne 1 and festival at fo'ubra"ie. Bult-fi grit• Wg in the Landoo was a very exciting picture, and was loudly applauded. "Over the Hills to the Poorhouse " was a very reali: tic picture, and one of the most marvellous we have ever seejn was •• The Irish Fairy Man ; '| •« Christmas Day in Many Lands" was a« extremely gorge Oil's set, of pictures, showing the rise of the Various cr&s of religion, and it was \Mt\\ enjoyed. This series concluded with a film of an old fashioned English Christmas, which appealed to the audience. The series of views of Constantino, 1 • was a magnficent lot, showing the mosque, streets, and a beautiful view of the Bosphofiis. " Tomkins buys a Donkey ,J was a very funny film, depicting the vagaries 0f this obstinate animal and its new Owner. The series of fi'ims of the life of " Mary Queen of Scots " was watched with mrense interesi, several being exceedingly beautilul. 'I he entertainment concluded with a descriptive picture «' Two Boys and a Dog," which effectually brought down the house,
'1 o-night a change ot programme is announced, when among other first class films, the Shrkespenan play " Romeo and Juliet," jand " A Pins in Boots," will be shown.
