VENUS.
The mine manager reports that during the week seven feet have been risen. The resf in the back of the riße at preßunt in three feet thick and the distanoe on stone is 51ft. The end of the stone north and south has not yet been reached. Twenty tons of quartz have been taken from the mine this week. BIG iUVER. The mine manager reports that the contractors will finish timbering up on Monday next after which driving will be started on the reef. It is also exptcteel to have the cross-cut timbered up next week.
