A favourable change has taken place nature of the country being met in this Company's tunnel. On Wednesday a track of reef, with broken quartz <came in at the bottom, about two or three feet thick. Further driving may develop this into a defined body of «juartz. At a half-yeai-ly meeting on Eriday last Messrs Wright, Cacace, Hart, F. Harrison, and T. French -were elected directors, Messrs Campbell and Smyrk were re-appointed auditors.
