WELFARE LEAGUE
MEETING AT AHIMIA DISPLAY OF MAORI ART A meeting of the Ahimia Welfare League was held on a recent week-end when Mrs Collier presided. A welcome was extended to Constable and Mrs Patterson. Mr Patterson gave a brief talk on law and order as it affected people generally. Mrs Patterson judged some fancy work done by the children.
Afternoon tea was sferved by the league members. A number of specimens of Maori arts and crafts were displayed among which were beautiful mats, feather kits and piupius.
