BETTER MACHINES
aerial topdressing
HEAVIER LOADS NOW TAKEN
Had there been any improvement in the quantity of fertiliser which could be carried by aircraft engaged in aerial topdressing? asked Mr A. J. Goudie, of Col. N. P. Adams, chairman of the meat and wool section of Federated Farmers, Auckland 'province, when the latter was addressing the meeting held recently in Thames of the Northern Thames sub-provincial executive. '
There was a gireat improvement and machines were actually operating with heavier loads, said Col. Adams, but so far those machines would not be able to operate in Coromandel. The moth plane was still the only machine in use for that class of country.
