FIXED AT £2OO A YEAR
PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL —n —
The amount of the mayoral allowance was discussed by councillors and the deputy-mayor, Cr E. W. Lee, at the first meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council held recently. The deputy-mayor pointed out that the allowance had been £l5O a year three years ago but it had been increased to £2OO to meet increasing costs. He suggested that the allowance to the mayor, Mr N. C. Davies, be £2OO, which was agreed to by the council.
