Mr Mace stated that there was. ' a dangerous hole in the bridge and l ' that the structure was rapidly de-. teriomating for lack of tmainten-. ance. The responsibility for the ' repair of the bridge wtas with the Piaiko an,d Ohinemuri county councils. ■ .
Mir J. iW. Lauder informed the meeting that he had been informed by the engineer of the County. Council that the matter would have his immediate attention.
A resolution was carried that a?? letter foe written to both equipty councils urging that action be** taken.
