WATER FOR LEARNERS’ POOL COROMANDEL SCHOOL Labour Day week-end was one of ‘bright warm sunshine in Whitianga. A sports meeting and a dance raised The thanks of the Coromandel School Committee were conveyed to the October meeting of the Coromandel County Council for the council’s decision regarding the supply of water for the proposed learners’ swimming pool at the school. A letter was read at the meeting from Mr H. V. Denize, chairman of the school committee, expressing appreciation of the council’s generous decision.
