NGATEA DANCE
RUN BY SCHOOL PUPILS SUCCESSFUL GATHERING A most successful dance at Ngatea was completely organised and carried through by the pupils of the Ngatea District High School, who were also members of the Cinderella Club. There was a large attendance and music for dancing was supplied by a six-piece orchestra, led by Mrs E. Clark.
A Monte Carlo was won by N. Clark and F. Brien, the novelty Monte Carlo being won by Miss B. McNeil and Mr B. Tapp. The spot waltz was won by Miss Shirley Green and Mr Maurice Goodwin and the competition by Miss Betty Connor.
