FIRE AT NETHERTON
KAURI HOUSE DESTROYED
TOTAL LOSS SUFFERED Fire destroyed a six-roomed house at Netherton yesterday belonging to Mr H. H.- Vowles, the building and contents being a total loss. Mr Vowles was away from home at the time of the outbreak. The house, though not a new one, had large rooms, was built of kauri and was in a very good state of preservation. Its destruction is a heavy loss for Mr Vowles as the insurances on building and contents are only small?
