COROMANDEL GARDENING
DAY OUT AT PAPA AROHA
Members and friends of the Coromandel Gardening Circle spent a very happy day under ideal weather conditions last Wednesday, when a bus load went to Papa Aroha for the day. Luncheon took place at the resiof Mrs J. S. Smith and later afternoon tea was enjoyed at Mrs C. A. McCall’s. A happy time was spent by all and many cuttings, etc., changed hands, also gardening hints. Next week the circle goes to the Whanganui island, where some lovely gardens are to be seen, and another enjoyable outing is anticipated, weather and 1 tide permitting.
