COUNCILLOR PROTESTS
COUNTY OF COROMANDEL
A letter received from the building inspector, Mr J. V. Flowers, suggesting that the building by-laws be made applic-
■able 'to the whole of the Coromandel county was read at the October meeting of the council. Or A. J. Denize: ‘1 strongly protest. It’s all right in towns but a farmer often has to make shift for a year or two 'till he can build permanently.” The matter was deferred till next meeting when it womiM be discussed with Mr Flowers.
