• Public Notice fJOROMANDEL COUNTY TRIENNIAL ELECTION OF COUNCILLORS Public Notice is hereby given, that in pursuance of the provisions of the Counties’ Act, 1920, the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925, and of all amendments thereto pertaining, an election will be held on Saturday, November 18, 1950, for the purpose of electing Councillors for each of the undermentioned Ridings:— Colville Riding: Two Councillors required. Coromandel Riding: Three Councillors required. Kuaotunu Riding: One Councillor required. Whangapoua Riding: One Councillor required. Whenuakite Riding: One Councillor required. Whitianga Riding: Two Councillors required. ‘ Nominations must be delivered or posted to reach the undersigned, the Returning Officer for the County of Coromandel, at the County Office, Kapanga Rbad, Coromandel, before noon on Friday, October 27, 1950. COUNTY OF COROMANDEL BRIDGE BATE THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1926 Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act 1926 and Amendments thereto, if any, the Coromandel County Council: has resolved that, in addition to any general and Special rates authorised by the Counties’ Act, 1920, a Special rate to be called a Bridge Rate be made and levied for the purpose of providing funds for the reconstruction of bridges under the jurisdiction of the said Council. Such rate shall not in any one year exceed the amount of One Halfpenny in the Pound on the Capital Value of all Rateable property in the County and such rate being of such annual amount as the Council may each year and from year to year fix by Special Order.
