HIT WITH A POST
ACCIDENT WITH TRACTOR
KAIHERE FARMER INJURED
To be struck in the stomach with the end of a post which was propelled by the spinning wheels of a tractor was the unusual but painful accident which befell Mr Randell M. Benny, farmer of Kaihere, recently. The tractor became bogged and in an endeavour to extricate the tractor a post was placed under the wheel. MrBenny was standing behind the tractor, the spinning wheel of which gripped the post and shot it to the rear to strike Mr Benny, who was later taken to the Thames hospital, where, it is understood, he is making satisfactory progress.
