THAMES HOSPITAL BOARD
WAIHI ONE REPRESENTATIVE
“The board feels that it;cannot put forward any argument of sufficient strength to warrant retention of two members for the Waihi Borough,”’ wrote the secretary of the Thames Hospital Board to the director-general of health, Wellington, following a telegram from him seeking a reply to a •proposal that the Waihi borough should have one representative instead of two upon a board, the number of members of which would be 11 instead of 12.
