OHINEMURI COUNTY
THREE NEW NOMINATIONS Three new nominations for seats om the Ohinemuri County Council have so far been received by the county clerk, Mr A. A. Jenkinson, Paeroa. lit all seven nominations have been received, the three new ones being Mr Frederick James Mace (Mangaiti), Mr James Joseph Shallue (Mangaiti) and: Mr Ralph Killgour (Komata). The full list is as follows:—
Mangaiti riding (one member to be elected): Mr Fredick James 'Mace, nominated by Messrs A. L. Death ami G. H. Bygrave. Mr James Joseph. Shallue, nominated by Messrs G. JHancock and M. Fitzgerald. Komata riding (two members to be elected) :Mr Ralph Killgour, nominated by Messrs J. W. McKee and P. H. Poland. Mr James Alexander Lowry, nominated by Messrs H. E.. Smith and M. R. Morrison. Mr Howard R. Morrison, nominated by Messrs S. Orr* and C. S. Morrison.
Waihi west riding (one member to be electfed): Frederick L. Franklin,, nominated by Messrs P. McConville and R. W. Kennedy. Waihi riding (two members to beelected): Mr Sidney Herbert Thompson, nominated by Messrs L. RThompson and P. J. Hicks. The Ohinemur county is entitled to representation upon the Hauraki Catchment Board and Mr Jenkinson reports that he has received the nomination of Mr Harold R. Thorp, who has been nominated ■ by Messrs T. A. Barrett and F. Lewis.
