OHINEMURI COUNTY AIRBA
SEPTEMBER PERIOD COVERED
Nine applicants for drivers’ licenses were tested during the month of September and of that number only one had failed t<s pass the test but, upon a retest, was.passed, stated the traffic inspector, Mr W. Hackett, in his report to the October meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council. Five warnings were issued for rfiinor breaches of regulations. One traffic offence notice was issued for exceeding 30 miles per hour speed limit for a heavy motor vehicle. Four vehicles and their loads were weighed during, the month. No offences were committed and no traffic notices were issued. Patrols had been maintained throughout the period and special attention had been given to the traffic using Hpbbard’s road. No accidents of a serious nature had been reported during the month.
