SHARP INCREASE
BIRTHS IN PAEROA SEPTEMBER FIGURES MORE MARRIAGES FOR MONTH There was a sharp increase ir the number of births registered in Paeroa for the month of September, 1950, as compared with the same month of the year 1949. Last month 24 births wfere recorded as comlpared with 15 for September of last year. Since the beginning of this year 174 births were registered in Paeroa as contrasted with 160 for the corresponding period l 'of 1949. Only 15 deaths were registers.’ in Paeroa for the first nine months of this year as against 22 for the corresponding period of last year. During last month only two deaths were registered, that being the same number registered during September, 1949. No marriages were performed by the registrar in Paeroa last month as against one during September l of last year. Since the beginning of the year
