XMAS SHOPPING
TREAT FOR CHILDREN PAEROA BUSINESSMEN’S IDEA It was time that the business people decided whether (they were (going to have a Christmas ‘shopping function, said Mir J. J. Craig at the September meeting,of the Paeroa ‘Chamber of Commerce. Mr ‘G. E. /Button suggested that the chamber should drop the idea «xf fostering retailer’s shopping and should give attentionto providing a treat for the children as was done tost year. Mr ‘Button should be complimented upon what he had done ‘last year, said Mr E. W. Lee. It was decided to leave the matter in abeyance and make a final decision at a subsequent meeting of the chamber.
