Classes are included for all tastes, including cattle, sheep, horses, ponies, pigs, dogs, dog trials, poultry, sheep shearing, wood chopping and 1 highland dancing. Special features of the horse events, will be the interest in the competition in the Dominion jumping competition of £290, when the champion from the South “Viking,” will be competing. In the dairy section, oak competitions will be finalised in the Jersey and Friesan sections, whilst new and special prizes have been allocated to all breeds. The sheep section is expected to be strong with new competition in Suffolk and Dorset Horn classes. Intending exhibitors are reminded that entries close on Monday, October 2 next, with the secretary in Hamilton.
