Should Be Good Racing

FIELDS TRACK IN GOOD ORDER LUXTON STARTING STALLS ELEVEN RACES ON SATURDAY Given fine weather, and indications are good, the Ohinemuri Jockey Club's spring meeting to be held at Paeroa on Saturday should be a particularly successful day. Good fields are engaged and the class of horse which has accepted should provide plenty of interest to followers of the sport. A feature of the day will be the use of the Luxton starting stalls which will be used on the course for the first time. These stalls, which have been used in the Waikato and at Thames last Saturday, have added to the interest in racing giving all horses aii opportunity of a good start without intereference from other starters. They assist in the i.unning of the programme to time which is a most important feature for a club like the Ohinemuri Jockey Club who have to contend with a large programme, there being three divided races on Saturday making a total in all of eleven events.

The trade, without rain is experienced before Saturday, will be fast and it is in good order.
