WOMEN’S DIVISION
MONTHLY MEETING HELD GATHERING AT ORONGO The September meeting of the Orongo branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers was held 'at Mrs Haimerton’s residence, Mrs MlcCoid presiding. There were also present Mesdames Fargher, Clevely, Pocock, Hamerton, Heenan, Cocks, Bell, Strange, Misses Finnerty,Fargher and Clevely. Mrs J, R. Cocks was welcomed as a new member. Invitations to neighbouring birthdays were discussed and it was decided that whenever possible representative members should attend. Competitions were won by Mrs Pocock, two, and Miss E. Clevely. Afternoon tea was served by the hostess, Mrs Hamerton, to whom 1 a hearty vote of thanks was accorded; The singing of the division song brought a pleasant afternoon to a close.
