THAMES VALLEY AREA PAEROA WELL AHEAD OFFICIAL (STATEMENT MADE Interesting figures as to the railway traffic and revenue. for the stations of Te Aroha, Paeroa, Thames and Waihi are contained in the statement by the Minister of Railways, the Hon, W. S. Goosman, presented recently to the House of Representatives, and covering the period foy the year ending March 31, 1950. Details:— Te Aroha: Passengers, 4624; cattle, 7777; sheep and pigs 8563; goods in tons, 11,109; inward traffic, cattle and calves, 983; sheep and; pigs, 7607; other goods, 21,977. Paeroa: Outward, passengers, 10,945; cattle and calves,* 46,833; sheep and pigs, 18,641; other goods, 21,784 tons; inward traffic, cattie and calves, 3794; sheep and pigs, 10,626; other goods, 32,849.
