HAURAKI LODGE
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE HALL
FOR COROMANDEL’S BENEFIT
The fortnightly meeting fof the Loyal Hauraki Lodge was held in the lodge room, Coromandel, on June 26, when the N.G’., Bro. J. Beech, presided.
The sick visitors report was satisfactory. The secretary reported an increase in the lodge hall bookings for meetings, social evenings, dances, etc. The newly installed modern conveniences and dressing room have been commented on by patrons as a very decided improvement to the facilities provided. After a discussion it was decided to hold a Paddy’s market on September 8, the proceeds of which will enable the lodge to maintain and improve its facilities for the benefit of the people who hire, the hall. After the routine business was concluded > supper was served and some of the members played 500 to wind up the evening.
