WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
MONTHLY MEETING HELD
RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS
The monthly meeting of the Coromandel Women’s Institute was held in the Oddfellows hall on July 11 when Mrs Ball presided. Two new members were welcomed and after the routine business was dealt with arrangements were discussed for the group meeting to be held in Coromandel on August 10.
The roll call, .“What my husband thinks of the W.1.” was well answered and caused much merriment —the answers being varied. The highlight of the evening was a housewives quiz. A competition, which was won by Mrs McKinley, resulted in a donation
