OBITUARY
/ _ ' MR HAROLD T. MIDDLETON COROMANDEL IN EARLY DAYS Recently there passed away in in the persoh of Mr Harold T. Middleton one who was associated , iwith Coromandel in its early days. He married the daughter of the late Mr William Anderson, a well-known mine owner and mine manager of Coromandel. The late Mr Middleton was a very good musician and entertained many an audience at Coromandel during the days of its mining Iboom. He was a splendid imitator of bird calls and a really good whistler. Later he joined) the. staff of 'Messrs Hancock and Co. Ltd., and made his home in Auckland. His wife predeceased him. His sister still lives in Auckland and ■ a brother-in-law, Mr T. Anderson, has a bakery, in Coromandel.
