TURUA ASSOCIATION 1 ELECTION OF NEW OFFICERS The annual meeting of the Turua Parent-Teacher Asosciation was held recently. Mr 'S. J. Strong in moving that the report of Mr R. -Conners, the chairman, be adopted praised Mr Conners for his enthusiasm and said that he had handled the transport situation in a grand manner. Mr J. Gray on behalf of the school committee endorsed Mr Strong’s remarks and said that the association was a great help to the school committee. t Election of Officers The following officers were elected: Chairman, Mr R. Conners; secretary, Mrs *G. Scott; committee, Mbsdames Robertson, Mules,. Scott, Mitchell, Miss Dare, Messrs Schmidt, Woods, Henwood, Vallis and R. Smith.
