WINTER MEETING OPENS WAIKATO RACING CLUB The first day of the pCStb Racing Club’s three-day winter meeting will be held at Te Rapa on Saturday and with a programme including two hurdle races and a steeplechase, patrons will be provided with more than average entertainment. Horses which have caught the eye at recent meetings and which may be’seen to advantage on Saturday may include: — 11 a«m.—
