ANZAC DAY
COMMEMORATION SERVICE COROMANDEL CELEBRATION Perfect weather prevailed at Coromandel for the of Anaac Day. The parade formed up at Furey’s bridge at 1.30 p.m. when, led by the Ceramandel Silver Band and followed by the JR.S.A., Guides, Scouts and school children marched to the Courthouse grounds and formed up at the memorial. werte placed by the CoroBffl&l County Council, R.S.A. .Women’s Section of the R.S.A., Guides, Scppts, nursing sisters, Hauraki (Lodge, womens institute, Women’s Division of Federated' Farmers, school children and next of kin. E. L. Gane played the "Last Post” and after a silence sounded the. Reveille. The national anthem by the band Concluded that part of the commemoration. A combined service was afterwards held in the Civic theatre where Mr E. Heebie, county chairman, made the ' opening remarks and was followed a prayer led by Captain Braddock lesson by the Rev. R. E. Leggott. ■Ki Addresses were given by Lt. Col. Muray, 08. E., and the Rev. O. L. Christian.
