Tentative plans for the renovation and alteration of toe Thome* Hospital Board’s dwelling at Whitianga were submitted to the February meeting of the board by the board’s architect, Mr L. Walker, of Auckland. It was the intention of the board to use the building as a convalescent and health recuperation home fur members of the board’s staff. Basketball Dance
The Coromandel Basketball Club hold* a dance in St Geotge’s hall on Saturday, February 25, when a very pleasant time was spent dancing to tho music supplied by Mrs D. Stewart and Mr W. Hart assisted by a visitor who played the ebrionetto. The proceeds were In aid of new courts for toe club.
