COW SHED DRAINAGE
TROUBLE AT KOPUARAHI POLLUTION REPORTED The pollution from Mr T. E. Harrison’s cow yard at Kopuarahi was referred to in the report of the foreman, Mr W. Johnson, to the February meeting of the Hauraki United Drainage Board. The drainage from the cow yard was polluting the Kerepehi - Kopuarahi drain, and although the foreman had asked Mr Harrison to see to this, no action had been taken.
In view of this, the clerk, Mr R. S. Nicol, was instructed to write to Mr Harrison, asking him to comply with the arrangements made with the foreman for the disposal of cow shed drainage, and to clean the pollution from the drain.
