WOMEN’S DIVISION
ORONGO BRANCH MEETS RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS The June meeting of Orongo branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers was held in the home of Mrs G. Egan, when Mr? McCoid presided over a small attendance of members. Mrs Croyden was welcomed as a new member.
As there was little business to be attended to the afternoon became mostly a social gathering and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The results of the competitions were as follow: Best bloom, Mrs N. Wood 1, Mrs Cocks 2; wall competition* Mrs Woods 1; mystery parcel, Mrs Egan.
