Wharf at Colville
At the July meeting of the Coi*omandel County Council a letter was read from the Colville branch of Federated Farmers stating that the M.V. Maretana was about to start a regular service to Colville and the letter asked that the erection of a wharf upon a new site be proceeded with. The letter was received. Abandoned Lands
To the July meeting of the Coromandel County-Council the chairman, Mr E. Deeble, reported that he and the county clerk, Mt J. H. Lucas, had interviewed an officer of the Lands Department, Wellington, who had informed them that empowering legislation dealing with abandoned lands would be introduced during the present session of Parliament.
