STREET STALL
FUNDS FOR BAY SCOUTS VERY SUCCESSFUL EFFORT Recently, members of the Whitianga Scout Committee held a street stall to raise funds for Cub and Scout activities in Whitianga. Those responsible for the stall were delighted with the remarkable response made to an appeal for donations of saleable goods. Among the wonderful array were eggs, sweets, popcorn, fruit, flowers, books, jams, pickles, soft drinks, fancy goods and vegetables of all descriptions. All these sold readily, and a total amount of £ll 5s 3d was raised, including approximately £1 from various cash donations.
