More Uses Than One
Seven new clocks have been ordered for the Paeroa District High School, and Mr A. L. Wrigley, at the March meeting of the school committee, asked what was the object of purchasing these timepieces. “ I thought it might have been for the teacher to be able to say: ‘I want to hear this clock ticking.’ I know my teacher used to say that before we could carry on,” Mr Wrigley added.
