RECORD ATTENDANCE
PAEROA SCHOOL PICNIC ENJOYABLE DAY AT KOMATA A record crowd-of some 500 children and parents attended the annual picnic of the primary department of the Paeroa District High School, held at Koniata cn Tuesday last. ’The weather was warm and sunny and there were numerous attractions to keep the children and adults amused the day. There was swimming in the creek, running and novelty races and free ice cream, sweets and drinks. The picnic was organised by the Paeroa Parent-Teachers’ Association and the funds were provided by the school committee. ,
