Details of the day’s play:— Men’s singles: C. Keane beat C. Smythe, 9—5; T. Keane beat W. Dalgety;, B—9; S. Dalgety beat T. Keane, 9—7.
Women’s singles: N. Smythe beat D. Darby,'7—3.
Combined doubles: T. Keane and E. Wallis beat C. Keane and F. Moffatt, 9 —l; W. Dalgety T. Scott beat C. Smythe and R. O’Neil, 9 —B; S. Dalgety and T.- Kinsella beat H. Smythe and N. Smythe, 9—5; T. Keang and E. Wallis beat W. Dalgety and T. Scott, 9—6. Women’s doubles: E. Wallis and N. Smythe befit D. Darby and L. Scott, 7—4.
Finals of the tournament are to be played next Saturday.
