LARGE BLACK MARLIN
CAUGHT OFF THE BAY ; LANDED DURING WEEK-END A black marlin weighing 61Qlbs was brought into Mercury Bay during the week-end. Caught off the Red Mercury Island by Mr Gordon Young of Papakura while fishing from the launch “Norma” the fish, broached ten times and took thirty-five minutes to land.
