CROQUET CLUB FUNCTIONS PADDY’S MARKET AND DANCE The CoromandeLctpquet club held a very successful paddy’s market cn Friday last, when a quantity of cooking, vegetables, flowers and competitions were quickly disposed of. In the evening a dance was held in St. George’s hall and a very pleasant time was spent, dancing to the popular music supplied by Mrs E. M. Lucas and Mr W. Hart. Mr EricGamble acted as M.C. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Misses M. Munro and E. Savage. A tasty supper was served by the committee, after which dancing continued till midnight. The proceeds of thb day’s activities are in aid of the club’s funds.
