Fence Around Soldiers' Park

The question of the erection of a fence around the Soldiers’ Park reserve at Coromandel was raised at the February meeting of the Coromandel County Council. It was suggested that as the level of the park would be raised when the new bridge at Furey’s creek was .built it was not de- s sirable to put up a permanent fence yet. A temporary fence was the wiser plan, while a permanent one could be put up when the bridge was built.
