ROADS on the peninsula SUMMER AND WINTER WEAR At the February meeting of the Coromandel County Council the clerk,'' Mr J. H. Lucas, elaborated further on the problem of heavy traffic on roads, a report concerning which had already been circulated to councillors. It was resolved that the works committee arrange for meetings of transport operators both in Coromandel
.nd Whitianga, to discuss this probem, with a view to some agreement ieing arrived at as to certain roads at ertain periods in winter time. Cr. J. H. Reddy commented that loliday traffic did as much damage to he roads as the ordinary heavy traffic, md was supported by other councilors in this remark.
