BASKETBALL DANCE
COROMANDEL FUNCTION ENJOYABLE EVENING SPENT « A very enjoyable evening was spent in St. George’s hall, Coromandel, when the basketball club were the sponsors. Owing to the wet weather the attendance was not as large as it might have been, but everyone present had a happy time.
Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss Fay Dobbs and partner and Mr Tom Savage and partner. A statue waltz was won by Mr J- Crocker and partner. Music for the dancing was supplied by Mrs D. Stewart and Mr W. Hart and Mr Eric Gamble acted as M.C. A very nice supper was served during the evening. Dancing concluded at midnight.
